Basic website activity
We record page views, navigation clicks, comparison actions and filter use to understand which parts of the site are helpful and identify broken journeys. Activity records contain page paths, event categories, a temporary random session identifier and the time of the event. Search text, URL query strings, names, email addresses and raw IP addresses are not included in these activity records.
Storage and access
Activity is processed through Vercel and stored in a separate School Rankings activity table in Supabase. The activity table cannot be read through the public website. Records are retained for up to 90 days. Hosting providers also maintain their own operational and security logs.
Your choice
You can disable optional analytics for this browser. We also respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Your choice is stored locally; school research and comparison tools continue to work.
Comparison shortlist
Selected school IDs are saved in your browser so your shortlist remains available as you move between pages. Use Clear in the comparison bar to remove them.
